| Six buses of people arrived to attend the rally organized by CAOMA to protest SB 233. If passed into law, SB 233 will eliminate the Acupuncture Board, and leave the profession in uncharted territory. There has been no plan offered by the Department of Consumer Affairs to regulate the profession without a Board. Assemblywoman Judy Chu gave a kenote speech to the crowd in support of the acupuncturist profession. |
