June 15, 2005 - Sacramento, CA - All five Yee bills are set for hearing on June 27 in the Senate with three amended to conform to each other.

AB 1113, AB 1116, and AB 1117 were amended to conform to the language that each was changing in the same section of law. This is a standard procedure provided by Legislative Counsel's office, when language it two or more bills conflict. These amendments prevent the bills from having to go to a special conference committee, which would only delay progress through the legislature.

All five Yee bills (AB 1113, AB 1114, AB 1115, AB 1116, AB 1117) will be heard on June 27 in the Senate Business, Professions, and Economic Development Committee.
